Who Should Play Aquaman?

In My Humble Opinion:  Aquaman isn’t the most interesting of superheroes but if Hollywood has taught us anything it’s that if an Aquaman movie will make money, then a movie will be made.  Originally I endorsed Simon Baker (who could still be pretty bad ass) but now I would also like to suggest Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (or as I call him…Kingslayer).  Of course we all know him as Jaime “The Kingslayer” Lannister  from HBO’s Game of Thrones.  He obviously knows how to work with an ensemble cast…which will come in handy with The Justice League movie that’s going to be made.  Frankly, I think he’d be perfect as Aquaman!

  1. I get the feeling that the Aquaman film has so much working against it, what with Entourage and, you know, the fact that it’s Aquaman, that no matter how amazing the star, it really needs a director to knock it out of the park. Funnily enough, James Cameron really would be the man for the job, all Entourage jokes aside. Nikolaj would be a very cool and brooding version of the Super Friend. Maybe he will add the necessary darkness to fit into Nolan’s DC-iverse.

    • Yeah, like I said I’m not the biggest fan but you’re right you bring in the right director and it could be something cool I mean honestly my expectations for Thor were pretty low and that was well done movie…wonder if Branaugh would come over to DC for a film haha. Either way I hope they eventually get around to a Flash movie too.

      • Branaugh could be a delightfully fun addition to the Justice League creative team. Maybe they’ll even get to a Wonder Woman movie one of these days.
